Its 1985, John Hughes is doing what he does and has always done which is make great one of a kind, fun and yet meaningful teenager movies. Weird science is weird from its inception to the situations that arise all in one days nights while his parents are out.
It may be over 25 years old but it still holds well as a movie to see if you haven't, and all the while you could learn something too.
