This is a lively film and full of fun. A very joyful experiance.

This film is a very far-fetched one, but that doesn't nessassarily effect it, seeing as it is a teen sci-fi.

The plot is imaginative and allows for many funny jokes and hilarious situations. Stupid, yes. But it is fun too.

I think both leads are very good characters and played brilliantly by Anthony Michael Hall and Ilan Mitchell-Smith. They create the loveable but eccentric characters that make the film what it is.

John Hughes directes adn writes a wonderous film and tranfers a great idea successfully into an amusing movie. A world apart from The Breakfast Club and Feris Bueller's Day Off, (which happen to be ultimately better) showing the range within comedy (teen, mostly) he has.

Although it may seem dated by today's standards, and it has aged more than TBC and Feriss Bueller but it still remains a strong comedy input by Huges and the cast (who are always funny).

A fun, farfetched film, but with a pretty bad structure and it is fairly datded. But for a great feel good and imaginative teen comedy, this is an under-appreciated '80's comedy that should be given a go.
