Review of Weird Science (1985) by Mac V — 16 Jan 2010
The premise makes absolutely no sense (I'm not sure why a computer-generated woman would be a witch with Mary Poppins-like tendencies?) but it's still a fun teen movie. Anthony Michael Hall is hilarious and charming in this, and really makes it worthwhile. Plus Bill Paxton and Robert Downey Jr playing huge assholes.
"Lisa, we can't have him like that. It'd ruin Christmas.".
