Review of Weekend at Bernie's II (1993) by Lisa Michelle A — 31 Dec 2009

This is the best Weekend At Bernie's film. I first saw this film when I was about 10, so that was 11 years ago now! I thought it was funny from the start. And in all honesty I saw it before I saw Weekend At Bernie's, but that didn't matter to me as much. I immediately watched Weekend At Bernie's after it tho and loved it too, but it will never beat the sequel, as it's definately the best!!! Shame they never made a third one...

The best lines:

Richard: "Why would you need to guard a dead man stuck in a two foot refrigerator?".

Richard: "Stealing shoes off a dead man. Oh, we're going to hell.".

[Watching Charles and Henry stealing Bernie].

Richard: "What kind of idiots would steal a dead body?".

Larry: "We did!".

(after finding Bernie with a girl on the beach).

Richard: "I see... And where did you and Bernie meet?".

Brenda: "In the conga-line.".

Richard: "In the conga-line?".

Brenda: "He's an excellent dancer.".

My Actor/Actress review:

Andrew McCarthy - one of the best 80's actors, as he's made some great 80's films, ok this was 1993, but the first one was 1989.

Jonathan Silverman - a decent actor, but Andrew McCarthy was better.

Terry Kiser - didn't really have any lines to learn as Bernie did he? Great job!!!
