Surprisingly unpretentious yet uncompromising without patronising it's audience. Weekend is so naturally and honestly acted it's like a documentary..but it isn't. With Hollywood churning out Transformers 3 and Underworld 9 (or whatever), this demonstrates the strength of UK film-making, I only hope many people support this film but I fear prejudice may prevail.
