Haigh's take on love and sexuality is as refreshing as they come managing to both balance its hyper-realistic sensibilities without being obtrusive or sacrificing charm. Bolstered by strong performances, the 'kitchen sink' can shine proudly once again in being able to translate its strong British roots about a subject with which everyone can relate to.
