Review of Wedding Wars (2006) by Gena D — 13 Mar 2009
This was, well, highly improbable. Highly, highly improbable. I'm willing to meet a movie half-way in suspending my disbelief, but this was... so improbable. The characters were charming, the dialogue was serviceable bordering on heartwarming, but the plot was just so improbable.
On a personal note, this movie was good for me as I have so intellectualized the concept of gay marriage that I needed a reminder of the emotional investment so inherent to the issue. Overall, though, mediocre.
