The dynamic team up of Vaughan and Wilson always had grand potential and this film doesn't fail in the slightest. The film doesn't have that repeat viewing aspect quite like some of the other films they have made.

Dobtkin does a great restraint job directing the comedic duo. The film is great to look at and he never let's the stars overtake the film with overacting or silly humour. The issue with the film is the problem facing most rom coms they run out steam very early. It's nice to see a film built on chemistry and humour generated with quick wit.

The film is packed with current stars and future stars. Bradley cooper shows promise as the unlikable boyfriend. Owen Wilson is low key and very likeable compared to the fast talking Vaughan. They bounce of each other very well and show great chemistry. Mcadams is well cast giving Wilson and female viewers a strong and very funny female character.

The film may over stay its welcome by the end but this is a fun romantic comedy. It was always doomed to cliches but the first half is wall to wall jokes.
