Review of We Were Soldiers (2002) by Audrey L — 15 Aug 2009
I thought it wause a pretty darn good movie. You wanna know why? cause I read the book which is a historical account from the leader of the american side of the battle and the reporter (John Galloway) and heck even the vietnamese colonel from that battle. Now it ticks me off to see you guys criticise the lines from the movie like "Tell my wife I love her" or "Im glad I died for my country" well get a clue! sure they sound like stereotype "dramatic" lines but based on actual accounts from the book and other sources whichever soldier that said that in the movie actually did say that in the battle. So don't judge a movie just because u cant research properly. Or better yet just read the book and take in that knowledge.
-Thank You to those who actually took the time to read this( I know I wouldnt read a review this long).
