Review of We Were Soldiers (2002) by Peter P — 30 Mar 2011

This is one of the better war movies about the stupidity of the vietnam war and the price paid by the average soldier and their families, all the while the people in charge that are not on the battle field are safe and sound, not risking a thing.

As for the movie itself, it has some amazing battle scenes, decent acting and a well put together cast, and although it is not the best war movie, it is definitely worth seeing, plus Sam Elliott is just too cool for words.
