Are you kidding? this is one of the best war movies ever made. the book almost brought me to tears, and stands as a testament to american valor and sacrifice. this movie comes as close as possible to demonstrating how much blood was spilled in the first real interaction with the NVA.
Gibson was perfect, Elliot was stoic as ever, and Pepper finds himself again in another war classic. This is slightly behind black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan as the best ever in recreating the hell of war.
