We Were Soldiers is very savage, so intense and so very entertaining.
The film balances action and drama really well so that you can't even pause to remember to breath during it. The kind of war film I hoped very many would be.
In this film, you can appreciate the cliche cause it helps the movie roll, and the film treats depiction of the Americans and the Vietnamese fairly.
