Awesome movie!! Mel Gibson is so freakin awesome!!! Ok, so I am correcting this: Favorite lines in the movie are when that private and the sergeant(not colonel) pass each other, and the private greets the sergeant. "Oh, so your a f***ing weatherman, now?".
And as far as people talk about the inaccuracy of this film, and while I can't comment on that specifically, I don't think this movie was ever supposed to be about the vietnam war, but about soldiers with families going to war, and then doing their best to come back alive.
