Review of We Were Here (2011) by The Critic ( — 02 Jun 2012
Heartfelt, retrospective documentary about people who lived though the introduction of the HIV/AIDS virus to San Francisco's GLBTI community. There are some powerful and uplifting stories of the human spirit and the natural instinct to survive here (nurse Eileen Glutzer's recollections are particularly fascinating).
Though it's not always an easy film to sit through, 'We Were Here' is one that's most definitely worth a watch.
