Review of We Own the Night (2007) by Corey N — 09 Sep 2009
This is a decent film about a family of cops and the one son who is a manager of a night club that has ties to Russian drug dealers. Set in New York during the late 80's the film has the feel of that era with the look and music.
Solid performances from Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Wahlberg, Robert Duvall and Eva Mendes. The film has a very dark story and interesting characters. The film is solid and entertaining enough for a one time watch.
