Review of We Own the Night (2007) by Rafal K — 01 Sep 2010
It could have been any other lame cops vs mafia crime thriller packed with actions & gunshots. It is such a courageous move that writer/director James Gray trying to dig deep into characters' emotions instead, although the story still sounds corny & unconvincing.
After all, it is lucky that there is an indulgent actor included in the cast called- Joaquin Phoenix.
