Review of We Own the Night (2007) by Hattie B — 14 Dec 2008
I didn't really know what to expect from this film, but in the end I thought it was pretty good. If I had to pick a favourite performance I would say that goes to Joaquin Phoenix, but everyone was at least decent. This film successfuly conveyed the eerie sense of seediness and struggle within life and within families.
A good film.
