A riveting performance by Tilda Swinton, soars above some of the arch characterization of the psychotic son and script flaws. The nightmare is matched perfectly by the compelling art house surreal film making.
It's a story so uncomfortable to watch, but like some horrific accident on the freeway, you can't look away.
