Tilda Swington is indeed superb, but as much as I could feel her character's devastation, I couldn't believe the evil nature of her kid. I kept thinking there should have been times when he was a sweet tiny 2 years old toddler.
I mean how can it be that a toddler can be evil to drive a mother to an edge! Maybe if the movie was a little bit longer and more focused on showing the "beginning" as well as the "development", I would have been more satisfied.
