The first half I was utterly uninterested in it, and only had it on while I was making lunch. However, after the second half, I was a little more drawn in, horrified at what I knew was going to happen.
I doubt I would have paid to see this in theaters, and I have never had any inclination to pick up the book, so that's all I got. It was a creepy film, but I don't think I would watch it again, given the option.
