Review of We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) by Dan F — 26 Dec 2013
Inevitably heartbreaking, and an appropriately frustrating study of psyches forced into roles they are not fit for. Whether that be a woman with no maternal inclination, a father who is blind to her suffering, or the boy whose enabling creates a dangerous and deceptive narcissist, or a society with no will to understand that confuses pity with forgiveness.
