A good movie, but really depressing and disturbing. There's just something about this kid's level of hatred that's unfathomable. They don't give you any "he was mistreated as a kid" story; he was just born a nasty little monster.
The level of malevolence points to deeply seated psychological and behavioral problems rather than anything that could be considered a "reason," and this makes it all the more disturbing.
