Review of We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) by Abha M — 04 Nov 2015
It's dark, captivating and brilliantly shot as if you're walking through a nightmare. But all of it is from the mother's perspective. Are they real events or are they distorted in her post traumatic brain? The movie left me hanging, wanting to know who is Kevin and why he did what he did but even how much one would like to get a closure, the reality of nightmares lies closer to this scene:
Eva: I want you to tell me....Why?
Kevin: I used to think I knew. Now I'm not so sure.
