Review of We Live in Public (2009) by Jaime D — 23 Jan 2011
A fascinating documentary about a guy who was like a cross between Mark Zuckerberg, Howard Hughes and Ed Harris' character from the Truman Show (with a touch of Truman too): a social malodroit who spent his childhood watching TV, then tried to make TV his own with all of his big internet money as an obsessive compulsive.
I'd never want to meet the man- he's a douchebag with delusions of grandeur- but his projects are captivating. If I taught a Communications class this would be something I'd show them.
