Is it a comedy? Feels like one but there's no laughs. Then you think, this feels too serious for a comedy, then you get the biggest laughs of the film, and then it goes all serious again.

Also, how do the kids end up being fugitives by simply running away from a mob? I think the best things in this movie are David harbour and the main kid - both cool and do a good job, let down by a script that doesn't know what it wants to be. As a result you have a very uneven movie.
