This movie is racist against whites. The dad expressed his disappointment in his teen son for choosing to “listen to some old white guy with a guitar” instead of enjoying a black song, and the mom just HAD to add a hateful comment about how she doesn’t want to be like “every STUPID WHITE FAMILY”.
How racist is that? My child was watching this and she looked at me in confusion when that was said. this is NOT okay to fill the minds of kids with nasty speech like this.. Imagine if this was reversed and it was a white family saying stuff about “stupid black families”, that wouldn’t fly! So why should hating whites fly? It SHOULDNT.
