A few reviews say this was too cheesy or sappy; well really, what did you expect! This is a feelgood family movie about a guy who buys a zoo, I mean come on. There are a few sad moments as a father and his two children try to move on from the loss of the mother of the family.
Scarlett Johansson looks as gorgeous as ever. It does what is says on the tin and is simple wholesome entertainment for young or old; I didn't watch this film for dramatic tension or pacing, simply wanted to see something light and heartwarming.
Job done. The ending is a particularly nice touch in my view.
