Review of We Bought a Zoo (2011) by Wk M — 25 Nov 2012

Its a true story. Some say loosely based. I read about the "loose" ends and I have to disagree. Things must change for a movie to be made. Therefore the changes made to the storyline served the movie better.

Now for a PG movie it had a word or two. I would rate it a PG-13 but it was defiantly, oh so sweet. Matt Damon seldom disappoints and like I said before Mrs. Johansson is growing on me. She becomes better and better as she goes.

Sweet little actress playing the doughter was the heart of this film. This is a must for a family. Its real.. that's what makes it even better. Focused on the family and the situation I have to admit it failed to give depth to some characters.

I don't know if the writer is to be blamed or the director that allowed it. But overall, a nice reason to cuddle on the couch and end a day.
