Damon carries this predictable and harmless film. Despite its overly saccharine nature "We Bought a Zoo" still has some genuinely tender moments. Most surprising is Scarlett Johansson's more than adequate performance.
Still, nothing shines in the film and the plot is so transparent you're often bound to be bored.
