Review of We Bought a Zoo (2011) by James W — 31 Oct 2013
An unforgettable journey of triumph and heart with one of the sweetest endings to hit a drama movie! It's essentially about a big adventure about one man taking on one giant task, whilst taking with estranged son and excitable daughter along with him on the road to a dream! We Bought A Zoo isn't "get a box of tissues sad" but it does have plenty of emotional moments, but there's more tension and the sense of unpredictability, as you get attached to the family and the zookeepers, you fear for their outcome and the outcome of the zoo, and John Michael Higgins is a playful meanie providing opposition against the Mee family.
I will praise each and every single cast member, each of them deliver something special whether it's strong chemistry, big laughs, banter or heartfelt moments, they are utterly fantastic. This is great for all ages and perfect for a family night in, and I absolutely loved the ending was mentioned before, it's lovely and will bring a huge smile to you're face.
