Review of We Bought a Zoo (2011) by Burnednbroken . — 30 Jul 2014
It's surprisingly not as sappy as the trailer made it seem. Although don't get me wrong, this is a pretty sappy movie, especially near the end. However, what makes up for that is the movie's surprisingly good amount of heart and humor. The humor was what surprised me. It's timing was actually pretty good.
The acting and characters were also pretty good too. I liked the lead and Scarlett Johansson makes a good secondary character. The story's pretty clique but one could ignore that just because of the film's heart.
So overall this movie is pretty harmless. Don't expect to remember anything about this movie, but it still has some good moments.
