We Are Your Friends flopped at the box office, and it's not hard to see why. There is a shortage of passion in the cliché "struggling musician" role. This time we're dealing with the ever so popular EDM genre, so We Are Your Friends is quite concretely more Skrillex than Sinatra.
It's a new age film you've seen before, adapting to the times but scrambling to maintain originality.
