Reminded me a bit of Groove in the way that they tried to show how electronic music was made in California and club promotions. It showed a bit of a world that most don't see. The main theme is a DJ trying to make it, playing clubs without any money.
The other theme is other theme is a love romance between the DJ and his mentor's girlfriend.
