Review of We Are What We Are (2013) by Morris C — 23 Oct 2013
No vampires, werewolves nor zombies, just people eating people. A quietly disturbing movie about a seemingly normal family with a dark secret. After the family matriarch's untimely death, it's up to the eldest daughter to continue the tradition of harvesting and preparing human flesh for food.
Though not exhibiting much gore, this Hollywood movie remake of a Mexican film about modern day cannibalism has enough tension and suspense that will lead you to a shocking and disgusting ending.
