Review of We Are What We Are (2013) by Ricky G — 13 Aug 2014
Jim Mickle ha impressed me before with one of his previous films called Stake Land where he took his few on the vampire genre. With this movie you get a family that is forced by their father to keep their family traditions alive.
The acting is here is quite good but the story takes it's time developing which I don't mind but when it takes over an hour to get going you kind of stop caring but I still help on. We Are What We Are has it's moments and the ending will leave you with chills and basically going looking at your friends or whoever is watching it with you and say "What the *bleep*" This is not the best horror movie I've seen in a while but it's a decent one and I enjoyed it.
