Review of We Are What We Are (2013) by Facebook U — 01 Feb 2015
The kind of powerful film that is so strong I almost don't want to see it again. But I'd be lying if I said that Bill Sage didn't blow me away with his sinister, dark-as-fuck portrayal of a cult-leader-cum-father who has a taste for human-mutton and making his daughters into his (non-sex) slaves.
Mickle is a director I will make sure to see anything he does, between this and Stakeland he's earned it. Oh, and Michael Parks. nuff said.
