Review of We Are What We Are (2013) by Little D — 24 Jan 2014
This is a hard movie to review. It is so many things at once. It is slowly told, which may put some viewers off. It has many unlikable or hard to like characters, which may put more off. It hints and cajoles about the ending, but doesn't come right out and tell it for much too long. But it is creepy. As things come to a head in the final act, you find that it is both better and worse than it seems.
An interesting movie, for sure.
