Review of We Are What We Are (2013) by Francisco G — 22 Jun 2014
This inferior remake was being a quite pleasant tale about corruption and family values that unfortunently derailed a bit into silliness towards the end. The flashbacks and bone investigation scene just didn't work for me too but it's well acted, tense at times, beautiful but sad and ultimately gets it's message across.
Still, you're better served with the original mexican flick, check that one out instead.
