Vampirizing Christiane F. German mehelancolic imaginary couples well with goth apparel, even when tempted by the lure of hollywoodian non-stop action (whose sun never sets over Deutschland), taking rightly a seat between The Hunger, Lost Boys and Near Dark.
The land of philosophers thorn apart by two World Wars poses the question: where is beauty? Does the search for it deserve the price of undying solitude?
