Review of We Are the Best! (2013) by Alan W — 19 Oct 2013
A sweet coming-of-age story that might be more relatable to a female audience than it is for me but nevertheless, it is funny and affecting, with very naturalistic performances from the leads and a narrative, while varied and touches on (too) many different subject, never feels false or forced.
For Moodysson, the director of this film, it is a welcoming return for him from his darker films recently.
