Amazing story, and even more so because it was based on true events. I have to take my hat off to Matthew McConaughey, he is one hell of an actor and really pulls out all the stops in this performance.
This is everything you would expect from an inspiring sports flick, and it full of excitement and powerful themes. Movies like this tend to pump you up, especially if you are a guy...I would highly recommend it.
It pays tribute to the persistence of the human spirit in the face of tragedy. RIP Marshall University team of 1970.
