Review of We Are Marshall (2006) by Josh A — 08 Aug 2009
Over-dramatized and somewhat historically inaccurate, but decently entertaining. McConaughey does a solid job driving the film. I noticed a bunch of critics had a beef with the ending, but how else could you possibly end it? Marshall's first win after the tragedy had to have been a huge deal, it offers a type of resolution, and they do tell the story of that win with a fair amount of accuracy as far as I can tell.
