Review of We Are Marshall (2006) by Jimg. — 22 Dec 2006
I was an admission officer at Marshall during the rebuilding and resurrection process. Even though many of the characters were composites and some scenes were created or exaggerated, the movies did capture the emotions and character of the University and Huntington at the time.
I saw a sneak preview of the film in Davenport, Iowa. At the end of the credits the audience (only three of which had a direct connection with Marshall or Huntington) gave the film a standing ovation.
