Review of W.E. (2011) by Monique Y — 16 Dec 2013
This movie is not perfect but is worthy the three stars for the following reasons:
- Well acted.
- Superb soundtrack that keeps the feelings flowing from scene to scene.
- Beautiful scenery and decor, stylish in terms of fashion, locations, decoration, et al.
- Presented the myth of the "happily ever after" that has followed the relationship to a much more realistic point of view.
Now, it would have been so much better, at least for me, if the script had not included a fictitious parallel story of the other woman named Wallis and her obsession with the royal story.
