Review of Wayne's World (1992) by Alvin Y — 30 Jun 2011

Now, this what I call a good and a real good comedy that is very unique and original than most comedies nowadays. These movies were released in 1992 (WW1) and 1993 (WW2), so still these 2 films are still very good no matter how you've seen a lot of movies these days. Wayne's World 1 & 2, are very original I say because, look at any scene from any of these 2, they never become corny or dumb or even vulgar, instead it avoids its silliness and stupidity that almost became a smart one. Wayne and Garth are two nerds, actually they're not nerds, they only look like nerds, but really the more you love them, the more you think they're also an ordinary human being. Everytime a funny scene comes, I mostly laugh out loud, why? Not because of those in and out jokes here, but sometimes the satire and parody of most things that we already knew are well performed. Unlike those Zucker comedy films and those Scary Movies, these movies never become dull at any time, there is still things why Wayne and Garth are very generous when it comes to women and to themselves. Notice when they see a woman, they always say â??Swingggg!â??, I just don't know why, but I think it's on the game that should not be fouled on. I was very disappointed for not having a part 3, we want to see these guys again and to see more funny and witty satire and parody of maybe some more movies or TV shows, or even yet about their lives after what, that successful running of Wayne's World in the first, and the Wayne Stock in the second. And no matter what happens. These two are never gonna be forgotten, they're just the kind of characters to be look and treat you as their audience, so meaning it is a movie on a movie, and they know about that.

And to that, I'm sure many people will be disappointed with these films, but to me, they're so special, that I don't know if I want to say more about it. So, then, I give the 1st one a perfect 5 stars, because of it's smartness to it's characters and to the film itself, and the 2nd one a 4.5 stars, because probably it lacks a little something that the first one had.

And again, if in any chance, there's a part 3, I'll be looking to see it, but I guess it's been more than 10 years, and maybe these 2 are old now, and maybe it's gonna be called then â??Wayne's World negative 3â??, why? Just think about it!!??
