Review of Wayne's World (1992) by Rachel C — 15 Aug 2012
Before Mike Myers became a complete sellout, he made genuinely funny movies, like Wayne's World. This movie was a childhood favorite of mine, having been raised on Saturday Night Live during one of its best eras (the early 90s).
Just a few years back, I decided it was time to take a look back at this and its sequel and, unlike most beloved childhood films, it still stands the test of time. Actually, it's better than ever, considering that I actually understand many more of the jokes that, at the time, I just assumed were funny since everyone older than me was laughing.
If you want to see a brilliant comedian in his prime, this is the movie to look for.
