Review of Wayne's World (1992) by Kababs — 17 Jul 2015
I really couldn't see the point of this film, and how some people regard it as a classic. I do agree that some parts were laughable like when Myer's character out of no where sponsors products intentionally for laughs at the camera or Myer's character's recurring ex-girlfriend sub plot.
But there wasn't really any wit or intelligence to this movie, nor any consistency to the plot. Granted the film knows what it is, it is a stupid comedy making fun of people acting stupid. I might have to give this one a second viewing, but I came away from this one disappointed by the abrupt ending and how little I cared about the characters.
