Review of Waterworld (1995) by Erzebeth D — 16 Jan 2010
It's just as weird, overhyped, and stupid as people say it is. At its core, it has potential, and there really aren't too many movies like it. To me it represents the height of style for big movies in the 90's in a similiar way of The Fifth Element.
All that said, I had a lot of trouble even paying attention to Waterworld because everything was just ridiculous and boring despite being based on an interesting premise.
