Review of Waterworld (1995) by Michael A — 27 Jun 2010
When this movie came out I thought it was very long and boring.
Now looking back at this film through the lens of movie history, I find this movie a refreshing summer replay.
No CGI it's all "real." In the sense of being built to shoot. Except for the underwater city shot, it's all done practically. Great job Kevin. You did a lot of work and it paid off....many years later.
I accidentally bumped into Mr. Costner while he was shooting the 200 mil picture. At the Big Island of Kona airport. You looked smaller and dirtier. Maybe it was all the "real" seaweed in your hair.
Anyways, if anyone has a solution for the BP Oil spill, the Mariner is off to the rescue.
