Review of Watership Down (1978) by Bo K — 16 Feb 2008
Watching this again as adult, I find it's just as frightening as it was twenty years ago when I was duped in to believing it was an enchanting Disney film. It's a beautiful movie, but it leaves so many questions: how can any sane being frolic with the specter of death and be so collected? Who knew rabbits were so bad ass? Why does weasel look like a penis bong?
